Cancellation Policy
THE COMMITMENT

When you make a commitment to hire Seasalt Mersea, I then hold that space on my calendar that is no longer available to any other party. This is done to prevent a double booking being made and the inevitable dissapointment of a missed holiday or weekend break.
UNDERSTANDING THE CANCELLATION POLICY

When a commitment is made i.e. after the 24 hour cooling off period, I then refuse any offers or commitment to hire my caravan from any other party. I also stop advertising or marketing my caravan for the period that has been committed to and agreed. As already stated I then hold that space on my calendar that is no longer available to any other party. Once I have held the space on my calender and stopped any advertising or marketing I have lost any opportunity to recover lost revenue from the hire of Seasalt Mersea should anyone want to hire for that same period.

THE POLICY

Following making a commitment to reserve a period of residency at Seasalt Mersea, you have a 24 hour cooling off period.
If cancellation is made within this period a full refund will be made.

Outside of this period the following refunds will apply:

​To receive a 50% refund, guests must cancel at least 6 weeks before check-in date.
In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency I will be as understanding as possible.
Seasalt reserves the right to cancel your booking in the event of circumstances beyond our control in which a 100% refund will apply.
